Floor Plans - room measurements along with current pieces you plan on keeping in the room. Fireplace, windows sizes and placement of heat ducts.
Carpet or Floor Samples
Paint Samples - if already painted
Drapery Fabrics
Pictures of furniture styles you appreciate or favor
Where will the furniture be going?
Basement - size of door opening and ceiling room. Is it a straight shot down stairs or is there a landing.
Bungalow - are you looking to get a queen size mattress upstairs, if so a split foundation is needed.
Townhouse - will the furniture be able to fit up the stairs.
Bedroom made to a Den - door width, hall width and ceiling height to be able to accommodate a sleeper sofa or desk.
How do you plan on using your room?
Reclining Furniture - power vs. manual
Dining Tables - gathering height vs. dining. Check height for kitchen counters and island to select the proper height bar/counter stool.

Understanding the 3.8 Tax from the Health Care Bill
As REALTORS® Ed and I are used to fielding all types of questions about real estate whether its by phone or at some type of event or gathering. But were kind of surprised no one has called or asked us directly about the 3.8 real estate tax regarding the health care bill. Weve received emails, seen people post on facebook and heard people talking about it but all with the wrong information.
Now Ill be the first to admit Im not a fan of the health care bill and it scares me to death that this 2,733 page bill was passed by one party. However, when it comes to parts of the bill that effect my business I went right to the source the National Association of REALTORS®. The video below explain the 3.8 tax and who and how it will effect sellers.
